Sebu Simonian is an Armenian-American singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and record producer. He is one-half of the duo, Capital Cities, whose smash hit “Safe and Sound” peaked at #8 on the Billboard Top 100 and was nominated for Best Music Video at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. On the last segment, Pat & Posh sit down with Sebu to hear about his upbringing and how we got into music. In this episode, Sebu dives into how he started Capital Cities after meeting his partner, Ryan Merchant, through an ad on Craigslist. He also shares the story of how “Safe and Sound” was rejected for multiple commercials before becoming a global smash hit played literally everywhere.
