Every plot point in this movie is recycled from the last two – but it’s boring now. And unnecessary. None of the characters grow, except Darth Vader (who we never see). Instead, we spend 90 minutes trapped on Endor, where people stand around a lot and recap the trilogy. This film is the unfortunate blueprint for the 40 years of subsequent bad Star Wars sequels.
