Brewer's Daughter at the Invisible Folk Club

Rhiannon Crutchley is an acoustic musician performing under the name Brewer's Daughter. She has worked the festival scene both solo and as fiddle player with various bands. Her new album 'Jara' is the work of a confident focussed artist. It is a collection of gritty, passionate songs reflecting love, family, heritage, inequality and intolerance. All the conversation and some of the music on this session was recorded onboard the narrowboat 'Make Believe' that has been Rhiannon's home for the last 7 years while travelling around the inland waterways of the English east Midlands.
