According to a new paper just made public, researchers at Boston University were able to combine the spike protein from Omicron with the original strain of the virus, to create a new chimera strain that was so deadly it killed 80 percent of the humanized mice that they were testing on. Using grant funding from both the NIH and the NIAID, the sub-agency led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, these scientists were able to cobble together a new strain of COVID.
