Judge Rules Against Alvin Bragg; Manhattan Prosecutor to Be Deposed Under Oath by Congress | Facts Matter
Facts Matter - A podcast by The Epoch Times

The legal battle between Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and the Manhattan District Attorney has just officially ended: the judge in the case has ruled in favor of Jordan, and the Manhattan DA’s appeal to that ruling was just withdrawn. This comes shortly after former President Donald Trump was charged by the Manhattan DA with 34 felony counts of book-keeping fraud, and House Republicans began their own investigations. Chief among the lawmakers was Jordan—who, in his capacity as the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, launched an official probe of the Manhattan DA’s office. And as a part of his investigation, Jordan wanted to question under oath a former Manhattan prosecutor named Mark Pomerantz, as he had deep inside knowledge of the inner workings of the Manhattan DA’s office, as that work specifically related to the Trump case. Jordan sent an official subpoena to Pomerantz, compelling him to appear before a congressional committee and answer questions regarding both the Manhattan DA’s investigation into Trump and the debates inside of the Manhattan DA’s office that were taking place behind closed doors. Essentially, Jordan is working to investigate whether or not the indictment against Trump was truly “politically motivated.” ⭕️ Sign up for our NEWSLETTER and stay in touch 👉 https://ept.ms/3wWdBwe ⭕️ Support our fight for the truth
