Eugene Yu, the CEO of Konnech, a computer company based in Mighigan, was arrested about a week and a half ago for allegedly stealing and storing the personal data of Los Angeles County election workers on servers in China. This comes as Konnech, which provides computer services to the election departments of various counties, was awarded a five-year contract with Los Angeles County worth around $2.9 million back in 2020. The goal of this contract was to provide Los Angeles with an election workers management system called PollChief. The system was designed by Konnech and was meant to assist poll workers with different aspects of their job, which included things like managing assignments, facilitating communications, as well as dealing with payroll. Under the terms of the contract, Konnech was supposed to help maintain the poll worker data and keep it safely guarded, accessible to only U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents. ⭕️ Sign up for our NEWSLETTER and stay in touch 👉 https://ept.ms/3wWdBwe ⭕️ Support our fight for the truth👉 https://donorbox.org/facts_matter
