As you grow and achieve more success, family, friends and others can become your best investors. If you can break down the numbers and provide a good deal, people will invest. Working with Contractors- Vet them thoroughly-- look at their previous projects, get referrals. Pay them on a schedule, never pay everything upfront and don't complete payment until all of the work is done. Don't be afraid to fire a contractor if it's not working out. Hire Slow, Fire Fast. Investing in our communities- In spite of what the media says, there is a lot of investment and development taking place in Baltimore.
